The CIRCULATION treatment aims to promote a correct functioning of the circulatory system. Poor circulation can cause numerous diseases including oedema, peripheral arteriopathies of the lower limbs, venous ulcers and pressure sores.
Oedema is an abnormal accumulation of fluid in the intercellular spaces and in the interstices of the tissues that causes swelling and tension and can be caused by an altered function of the lymphatic vessels. 
Peripheral arteriopathies of the lower limbs is a syndrome due to narrowing of blood vessels that can be caused by hypertension, poor nutrition (cholesterol, triglycerides, other causes), smoking, diabetes and genetic predisposition.
Venous ulcers are due to a venous insufficiency that causes the venous system not to function properly with stasis dermatitis that causes blood swelling, thickening and trophic skin lesions.
When the lesions occur in parts of the body that have been under pressure for a long time during a prolonged stay in bed or in a sitting position, they are known as pressure sores.
