Unitekno s.r.l. is an Italian company that was founded in the early 1980s, based on twenty years of experience in producing household appliances.  Specialised in the production of household appliances, steam machines, steam vacuum machines, irons and ironing boards, in the last few years Unitekno has developed another two product lines to penetrate fields other than its traditional ones. This has led to the birth of Akwa, the water filtration division, and Magnetoenergy, which designs and manufactures medical devices for magnetotherapy. 
The wholly Italian design and production takes place in our plants following the philosophy that ensures that our product is long-lasting and satisfies the end customer.  Thorough inspection and testing allows us to obtain the high quality standards for which the market has always known us. 

We care about people. We make use of the most innovative technologies in the design and production of our products. Every part of the construction is studied in detail to best meet the need for usability and reliability.

We care about earth. We make steam for a cleaner world, without using chemical detergents. We make Akwa because plastic bottles have a negative impact on the environment. We make Magnetoenergy because magnetotherapy helps use live better without using drugs.
We reduce the footprint of our packaging to the minimum and only use recyclable materials.
We have made space available to all personnel for the cultivation of exclusively bio products.

We care about quality. To guarantee the highest quality standards, Unitekno has chosen to keep its manufacturing base in Italy, investing in automation of the assembly and testing processes. The production site in Foligno, Umbria, continues the industrial tradition that is now in its third generation.
